Born and raised in London, England, I began work in 1958 as a surgical instrument maker. During the early 1960's, I started making hunting knives. Also at that time, my fascination with mechanisms stimulated me to produce a few folding knives.

In 1982, I began attending knife shows in the United States and became a full-time knifemaker in 1985. I am a state-juried member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, member of the Italian Knifemakers Guild and life member of the Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association (NCCA). In order to achieve a higher level of aesthetic design, I have completed numerous courses in jewelry making and continuously expand my knowledge of art by reading and study.

In 1997, I moved from England to Peterborough, New Hampshire where I have a workshop with excellent facilities that enables me to produce quality art knives. I live in a beautiful area of New England that is full of artistis, writers, woodworkers and musicians. Examples of my work have been displayed in several exhibits at the renowned local Sharon Arts Gallery.

My wife, Virginia Lee Miller, is a knife collector whom I met at a knife show in Zurich in 1986. She jokingly says that she started out collecting knives and ended up collecting a knifemaker! We feel very privileged to live in a small town that offers so many cultural opportunities in such a beautiful landscape.

On my Show Calendar page you will see this year's current schedule. We look forward to meeting you in person at a show or hearing from you via phone or email.
